Look for an elephant

Children will always be innocent.
In one class today, The teacher and the pupils were having a nice introduction to Road Safety and this is the outcome.
 Teacher - What do you need to do when you want to cross the road safely?
Pupil  1 - (gladly) Look for a Zebra.
Teacher - That's good!
Pupil 2 - I I I ma.
Teacher - Yess
Pupil 2 - Look for an Elephant.
who is at fault here? The teacher who did not correct the other child that it was a Zebra Crossing or the pupil who followed a lead and mentioned Elephant. Help me judge the matter.
